### Procedure:
#### Introduction (10 minutes)

#### Direct Instruction (15 minutes)

2. **Model Listening:** Read a short section from a picture book, demonstrating active listening and ask students to illustrate what they heard on large paper.

#### Guided Practice (20 minutes)
